As the Social Media Head in charge for MAIV Finance, a Real Estate and FinTech brand, I was challenged to build their socials from scratch and build the community to engaged followers.

For MAIV Finance, I designed and executed a custom social media strategy that elevated their digital presence from “invisible fintech” to “recognised authority” — with a distinct voice that resonated with both retail investors and industry insiders.

Here’s what I tackled:

  • Brand Positioning & Voice Calibration:
    Took MAIV’s internal expertise and turned it into a public-facing voice that felt grounded, forward-thinking, and distinctly not another faceless finance brand. Refined their tone to strike the right balance between tech-savvy and trustworthy — minus the jargon overdose.

  • Founder-Led Storytelling:
    Built out a founder visibility framework to spotlight the people behind the platform, not just the product. Crafted LinkedIn posts that positioned the team as approachable experts, using first-person storytelling, educational hooks, and market insight that didn’t put people to sleep.

  • Content Strategy & Format Development:
    Developed and maintained a content calendar with themed series (like #FinanceExplained and weekly market snapshots) alongside one-off posts, industry memes, and curated commentary. Made MAIV’s feed a place where followers didn’t just scroll — they stayed.

  • Community Building & Network Engagement:
    Drove engagement by helping the brand play the algorithm game intelligently. Targeted key industry conversations, boosted visibility through relevant tags and content collaborations, and ensured MAIV wasn’t shouting into the void.

  • Platform Growth & Optimisation:
    Prioritised LinkedIn as the primary growth channel with platform-specific strategies, while mapping out expansion to Instagram and newsletter integration for future phases. Every content decision was informed by platform performance and audience analytics.
